Ce nouveau projet traverse le temps : des vibrantes \u00ab jazz funerals<\/em> \u00bb de La Nouvelle Orl\u00e9ans aux big bands de Broadway, des notes bleues du cool jazz \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9nergie revendicative des ann\u00e9es 60\u2026 \u00ab\u00a0A Jazz Story\u00a0\u00bb<\/strong> rend hommage \u00e0 l’histoire du jazz \u00e0 travers un regard contemporain, po\u00e9tique et anthropologique. Il donne \u00e0 voir la transformation du jazz \u00e0 chaque \u00e9tape, jusqu’\u00e0 une fin en apoth\u00e9ose.<\/p>\n

Le  Cuareim Quartet<\/strong><\/a> est n\u00e9 au Mexique, en 2013, de la rencontre de ses quatre musiciens qui ont depuis trac\u00e9 leur route ensemble entre l\u2019Europe et l\u2019Am\u00e9rique latine. Quatre musiciens de formations et de cultures diff\u00e9rentes, partageant cependant la m\u00eame passion pour les sons anciens, le cosmopolitisme, la rigueur et le go\u00fbt de l’aventure.<\/p>\n

Le quatuor avait sorti le disque \u00ab\u00a0Danzas\u00a0\u00bb chez  Klarthe Records<\/a> en 2020, d\u00e9di\u00e9 aux musiques traditionnelles, \u00e0 ce qui les lie tout en les rendant chacune singuli\u00e8re : la danse.<\/p>\n

Avec \u00ab\u00a0A Jazz Story\u00a0\u00bb, le Cuareim Quartet improvise et compose un r\u00e9pertoire in\u00e9dit en associant la formation classique du quatuor \u00e0 cordes aux inspirations et influences qui ont b\u00e2ti l’histoire du jazz sur un si\u00e8cle. Ils sertont en concert le 15 f\u00e9vrier<\/strong> prochain au Bal Blomet \u00e0 Paris<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
